You’re restless, I’m restless, you’re home, I’m home! Plus, no one wants to go to a grocery store right now. Add that all up, and what do you get? The second best time to start a garden! (The best time was five years ago – ha!) If you’re ready to get your hands dirty and grow something good, let’s talk!

LISTEN NOW.

In this episode:
— I (literally) walk you through what’s growing in my garden right now. Pizza, flowers, shishito peppers, oh my!
— I give you a little history lesson on victory gardens. While world wars were certainly different than what we’re facing right now, there are some beautiful lessons we can take away from the experiences of our grandparents and great-grandparents in the last century.
— More than ever, the world loves and needs gardens. We talk about three reasons they’re so popular right now: peace, people, and produce. (Maybe one will convince you to start? :))
— There are so many unknowns right now, but the little-by-little progress of a growing garden, planted in faith, is “balm to the soul.” Let’s declare victory over the change COVID-19 has inflicted on our lives — over the fear and the challenges, and as we plant words and deeds in each other’s hearts.
— I share a few examples of how plants in my garden have planted legacy in my life, and how I’m doing the same for my children. What could you plant right now to build your legacy in this time?
— We remember that the biggest, best legacy is choosing hope over despair.

— Get your growing guide right here—my gift to you!
— Tag me, @LaraCasey, so I can see what you’re growing this year! I would love it so much if you did.
— My PowerSheets are my home base and number one recommendation for this season – truly how I’m cultivating an intentional life amidst all the turmoil! I’m so grateful I have these and so many of you do, too! Don’t be afraid to scratch things out and get messy (and check out these great blog posts you’ve all been loving about using your goal planner right now).
— The Legacy Journal is what I’m using to record for our children the good and the hard in this time. More about this soon!
