We’ve been through a thing or two together, friends! This month marks 20 years of writing for me. I started a little Blogger blog (anyone else?) in November 2003, shortly after I graduated from college. I wrote about wedding planning and floral design, and I think my only readers were my best friend and my mom. That was plenty for me, though! Back then, it felt extraordinary to get a “comment“ on a post from someone in another state or place. It was like getting an instant handwritten note. 💌

As more people found my little blog, many of those comments turned into email exchanges, phone calls, and real life friends.

Connecting with others through writing still brings me the same joy as 20 years ago! What a neat thing that we can share our lives together and learn from each other in these unique ways.

If I could have you all over—both long-time readers and new—for a garden party to say thank you, I would. 💐
