Hiring a Part-Time Morning Caregiver and House Manager

Hello, friends! We have been so blessed to get to know some amazing women over the last several years. While it’s always hard to say farewell when they reach the end of their time with us, we couldn’t ask for better memories, friendships, and lifetime connections. We are excited for her and to meet whomever the Lord has for us next!

We are looking for someone special to fill this important role, and perhaps that person is you! We are parents to a wonderful special-needs kiddo who goes to a variety of therapies each week and we also homeschool. This takes extra energy each day, so we’re grateful to have additional support for our home and family. (I will also be recovering from a major surgery over the next several months and we don’t have family nearby to help—we can’t wait to meet you!)

We are seeking a part-time Caregiver and House Manager, starting before the end of this calendar year for training, if possible, but we are flexible for start dates. The official start date is flexible – ideally November or December for training (obviously keeping holidays in mind!) and an official start after the new year. 7 am start time to 10/11 am – longer some days if your schedule allows, Monday through Friday with some date nights and longer days, depending on your availability. 15 to 25 hours per week. We’ll set a schedule together that works for you. If you are looking for more hours than listed, please let us know. Hours and pay will be guaranteed and consistent.

Who you’ll care for:
3 wonderful kiddos
Our home!

We’re looking for:
Joyful Caregiver
Organized and Efficient. Love a good checklist? This is for you! ✨
Hard Worker and Self Starter
Health-Oriented. We do our best to live a low-toxin life and this job takes a ton of energy!

This role offers a year (or more) contract. We’d love to honor your current work commitments, of course, and any time needed for moving here to Chapel Hill, if applicable. If you are applying from out-of-state (several of our previous caregivers moved here from out-of-state), we will gladly help you settle in and find wonderful housing. We love this area!

The perfect fit for this role will be energetic, experienced in childcare, and a lover of all things organizing. You will need your own transportation (although you’ll use our minivan to take the kids to school and for errands), and a clean driving record. In addition to helping get the kids to school and therapies each morning, you’ll help manage our home. This includes help with laundry, tidying, occasional errands, scheduling house maintenance, light housekeeping, light meal prep for kids lunches, and keeping household supplies in stock. Love checklists and organizing? This is for you!

Our faith is a cornerstone in our home. We are seeking a Caregiver and House Manager who can encourage Christian principles and lead by example. We are looking for someone who is calm under pressure, loves the outdoors, and has a passion for shaping our children’s hearts alongside us. More than that though, Ari and I hope to pour into the heart of whoever steps into this role. We’ve had truly wonderful caregivers over the last 10 years, and know the qualifications fit our family well. We will be doing several interviews with potential candidates.

APPLY HEREThis is a part-time position Monday to Friday, 7 am to 10 or 11 am with other hours determined based on your availability. Once a great schedule is determined, your hours will be guaranteed. Pay is commensurate with experience, $20 – $25/hour, and paid along with Social Security and appropriate taxes through our payroll service. We will begin interviews ASAP. We are praying for you as you apply and SO grateful for you applying!

P.S. If you know someone else who this would be a great fit for, please pass this post along. Thank you so much!
